Another sighting of Multiclavula mucida in Giant city state park. Southern Illinois.

Multiclavula mucida is the eastern species in Multiclavula which is a Basidiomycota typical mushrooms and so unlike 99 of typical lichens in North America.
Furthermore it seems to be mostly algae and not the typical 98 Fungi with 2 algae.
Some authors dont really think of it as a lichen.
