We are here to help! _________________________________________________________________________________________________ Get started with you easy to use Braun Pulse Oximeter with a few simple steps. First slide the battery cover to remove it from the device by pushing on the back edge of the battery door.
Insert the batteries being sure to align properly as indicated inside the battery compartment.
Slide cover back into place when batteries are secured.
The devices is now setup and ready for use. Pinch the end to open the rubber finger clip.
Insert your index finger with the nail facing up into the rubber finger clip.
Make sure your finger is fully inserted into the device then press the PowerMenu button on the top of the device. Keep finger steady while taking a measurement.
Do not press on a surface.
The light on the screen will start flashing until it detects your finger.
The bar on the screen will pulse as the measurement is being taken. When the reading is finished the blood oxygen level and pulse rate will appear on the screen.
A continuous beeping will occur to alert you if your blood oxygen level or pulse rate falls outside of the normal range.
To change the screen direction press the PowerMenu button.
The screen can be viewed in 6 different orientations.
When you are finished remove the Pulse Oximeter from your finger and the device will automatically shut off. To clean your Pulse Oximeter use an alcohol swab or a cotton ball moistened with alcohol to wipe down the finger clamp. To attach the lanyard pinch the top and thread through the hole on the top of the device then loop the lanyard back through itself.
