Master switch is one which we use to light up almost all lights around our house instead of running after all those light switches fixed in various places. To buy products scroll down. What is two way switch? 2 way switch is the switch which have three connections which you can say single pole double throw SPDT switch That means these switches have a single input and two outputs. Here you need Five - two way switches because for master connection the master lead which will come from master switch should be connected to the light switch terminal that will be in off position. The phase connection should be connected to the other end terminal that will be in ON position. Neutral connection should be connected to the light bulb and the phase lead coming from the center terminal of the two way light switch should be connected to the light bulb. For one way master switch you need a single one way switch. But for 2 way master switches you need 2 two way switches.
The light switches that you need to work with master connection must be 2 way switches.
