Shaving Like an Astronaut - The Techmatic Razor in Space and Helmsman Brushless Shaving Cream

On this the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing did you ever wonder how astronauts back then used to shave? Did they let their beards grow or use an electric razor or a safety razor? Well starting on Apollo 10 in 1969 they carried one of these Gillette Techmatic razors and some brushless shaving cream to stay clean cut and ship shape. I bought one of these Techmatic razors still in its original package along with some replacement razor heads.
Mine is from 1972 and its never been used.
