Minecraft Load World Record as of 12021.
What is Load?
Load is a speedrunning category for the game Minecraft which starts its timer as soon as you launch Minecraft from your desktop.
The goal of the speedrun is to get to the ender dragon as soon as possible with no limitations on the world that is loaded into: every world is allowed including pre-made worlds.
But you used a pre-made world?
Yes but that is standard for Load.
If you want a run that uses a random world look up Load Random.
Whats your strategy?
I have a very rough route with plenty of room for optimization.
Before the speedrun begins I make a world where I teleport to the end and kill the ender dragon.
Once this is done I position my player on the edge of the end portal so that when I load in I just have to hold D and Ill finish the game.
I then save and quit and close Minecraft.
From here the speedrun can really begin.
In this run I used my default Minecraft parameters but if you lowered RAM or render distance you could get better performance.
As soon as you hit the Minecraft button you have to start the timer so from there I am spam-clicking the position where the Play button in the MC launcher will show up.
Then I wait for the MC window to take priority over the other windows so that it doesnt go into a not-responding state this is known as not-responding skip.
As soon as it does Im spam-clicking the position where the Singleplayer button will show up and then the world Ive created which is the top-most one these are frame-perfect tricks so OBS compresses them with the prior frame and it doesnt show up in the recording.
Once this is done all thats left is to hold the D key to enter the Minecraft end screen and finish the run.
The reason why I dont just save at the beginning of the Minecraft end screen is that for one you cant and for two if you could the Load community has decided that it is necessary to catch the very first black frame of the end screen meaning if you did save there you would miss that black frame as Minecraft saves the game on one frame and loads the game on the very next: the only way this could be done is if you saved on the loading screen to the end screen.
This means that optimizations can occur in two places really: the way you enter the end screen and the way you load into the game.
I already mentioned changing your settings to better optimize the loading procedure but in regard to how one exits the end a potential optimization is to fall instead of walk into it which would save time as falling is for one faster than walking and two automatic meaning no keypress has to occur.
The only reason I didnt do falling is that its frame-perfect and extremely difficult to setup.
