Minecraft Trigger Command 1.19 Tutorial

trigger is the closest thing weve got to custom commands in vanilla Minecraft.
Its used a lot in tellraw and books whenever you want a non-op player to be able to do something via commands.
The tricky thing is enabling it.
When you first add the criteria it will need to be enabled on a player by player basis.

This is useful for things like tellraw clickable signs command books and all that.
This is a very easy command but it can be confusing for beginners.
As always I recommend doing this in a datapack and learning how to make a datapack.
Many people use this command for teleporting hope or to tp hometeleport home or to spawn.
E.G trigger home or trigger warp.
