How to download and play Osu

READ DESCRIPTION Hi.
I found out about and downloaded this game early April 2011.
I love the game it is fun and challenging like touhou in my other video and I wanted to show others out there who want to play how to play and download. COMMON PROBLEMS As seen in my video sometimes a beatmapthe song for this game will not work simply delete re-download and re-install.
If it still does not work then you have to find another version of the song or make one yourself :s When you spectate someone it doesnt always show you what theyre playing.
This can be either because they are not playing a game or because you dont have the EXACT same beatmap as them simply go to the site and download it install it then you can watch them. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- This was made months before upload but i had upload problems so i cut out the not so important parts I am not the best at this game just started like 2 hours before making the video.
I was level 4-7 while getting these clips and now i am over level 20 and can do up to 5 stars but 5 can be too fast for me sometimes : I had to do these in 4 and less stars due to recording lag and my noob skill level at the time :s But here you go. This is my profile: Controls: ESC - Showshides the menu. F8 - Showshides the chatbox. F9 - Showshides other online players. F12 - Saves a screenshot of the game. Some controls can be changed in the options menu Normal mode: - Mouse - Leftright click to hit the beat circle and hold it down while staying withing the balls radius if the beat circle is longer.
The middle button opens up the menupauses game. - Keyboard - z x c acts as a mouse click adcanced difficulties at higher levels Taiko drums: - Mouse - Left click to hit the orangeyellow beat circles and right click to hit the blue beat circles.
Hold down the button if the circle is longer. keyboard may also be used Catch the Beat!: - Arrow Keys - Left arrow to move left right arrow to move right. - Shift - Doubles your movement speed. Tips: - Pick a song you know so the rhythm of the beats is easier for you. - Start of with 1 or 2 start difficulty and slowly work your way up to the INSANE 5 stars! - Keep on practicing! I was talking to some high ranked players and that is what they told me is the most important thing. - Keep an eye out for the rings as some circles may be directly under others. - Talk to other more experienced players f8 they can teach you certain things. - If you miss a circle it may throw you off-beat and cause you to miss the remaining circles be careful of this. - Have fun Dont get frustrated or upset over the game. Also 1 The score you get at the end of a song goes towards your experience which accumulates and gives you your level.
Getting higher scores on higher difficulty maps will boost your level up faster. Also 2 Different people are better at different maps some people prefer Jumpy some prefer streams.streams are basically close line of circles where jumpy is far away movement clicks Also 3 The accuracy rating is based on the amount of 300s 100s 50s you hit not hitsmisses. Also 4 The ratings SS S A B C D depends on your accuracy and how much of 300s you hit more compicated talk to other higher levels to get mroe details on this. Also 5 Most of the top players use Mousekeyboard combinations or tablets to play the game so as you progress you will need more than just a left click to be pro. Run the Osu!install.exe that you just downloaded. Choose where you want to save it and keep clicking next. Install the beatmaps like shown in the video. Play the game.
