The Yading kora completed in the winter.
Sacred trek in remote China.
Two days alone in the wilderness.
4600m altitude.
No network coverage no internet or emergency calls.
Not a single person within days walking distance.
True solitude.
Tent and gear terribly heavy.
Unable to sleep body didnt acclimatise.
Legs hurt lungs grasping for air.
How come there are so many stars in the sky? So thats how the Milky Way looks like.
Even satellites traversing the sky are visible.
Complete silence.
Dehydrated but the last litre of water must last.
Dawn brings back the magnificent views.
