Busy Afternoon at London Luton Airport LTN 051017

The UKs fifth biggest oldest and arguably one of the most loved airlines in the country ceased operations on Monday 2nd October after announcing it was going into administration in the early hours.
Due to the loss of markets to much of Turkey Tunisia Egypt the airline had been forced to focus rely on more core European routes to the Mediterranean which were already swarmed with competing price crunching airlines like EasyJet Ryanair.
Which unfortunately resulted in this terrible outcome seeing one of the UKs best airlines go under.
2x Monarch A320s G-ZBAS G-OZBX can be seen parked up at remote stands having not moved since their arrivals from Gibraltar Tel Aviv on Sunday night 4 days prior to this video being taken. Due to Monarchs collapse the CAA had chartered over 30 aircraft to repatriate stranded Brits stuck abroad.
So theres a few to look out for in this video.
However other airports like Gatwick Manchester Birmingham were seeing the majority of these repatriation flights as those airports had more Monarch flights.
INCLUDES: Wizzair A320s A321s EasyJet A319s A320s A320Neo Vueling A319 Ryanair 737s Thomson 757 Peoples Viennaline ERJ170 and many private jets! The repatriation flights are an Air Europa 737 arriving from Alicante and an Orange2Sky A320 departing empty back to the Mediterranean. This will undoubtedly be the last time Ill see a Monarch aircraft and get them on video.
A fond farewell to a fantastic airline many great memories. Thanks for watching COMMENT THUMBS UP FAVOURITE SHARE SUBSCRIBE!
