Visit to the Iconic Dhamek Stupa in Sarnath: Site of Buddhas First Sermon and Nearby Buddha Temple

During my visit to Varanasi in September 2015 I stayed at Ganpati Guest House and visited the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple where I took a holy bath in the Ganges. Ganpati Guest House is located on the bank of the Ganges offering a rooftop view of the river and direct access through the back door.
Since taxis are not allowed to reach the guest house a 10 to 15-minute walk is required to get there.
On my last day before heading to the airport I toured the renowned Dhamek Stupa where Buddha delivered his first sermon and visited nearby Buddha temples.
