In the following video we demonstrate a setup with five users.
Two of them are administrators and the other are normal users.
This video was created to demonstrate the different views that the users will have depending on their access rights on each individual vault andor folder.
Transcript:
This tool contains vaults folders and passwords.
A vault is a collection of folders and passwords.
A folder is a collection of folders and passwords.
On this screen we have five windows.
On the top we have the screens of the two administrators.
We created two vaults one for the admins only and one that the regular users also get to see.
It is visible on the top row the Admin Only element which is not available on the bottom row.
As you can see both administrators can see everything even though the first administrator created all the content.
On the bottom row we have three users.
They all have the same account type but we gave them different access rights to other folders.
We created a few folders for this presentation each having different access rights.
We used the convention of naming the folders based on their access rights to make the presentation easier to follow.
In the left column of each user you can see the vaults to which they have access.
In this example they only have access to one vault.
Nested in the vault we can see the folders to which each user has access and if you observe the lists you will notice that the users do not get to see all folders as described by the names.
By visiting the folder B can Edit A-C can see using multiple normal users you will see that they get different options depending on their access rights.
Specifically when checking a password with user A we notice that the user cannot edit or add a password.
On the other hand when we use the account of user B we can see the new options to add a password or edit an existing one.
