Evergreens at Arlington National Cemetery

Memorial Arboretum at Arlington National Cemetery is home to an expansive and diverse collection of trees and landscapes. Included in the over 500 species and varieties of woody plants are a wide variety of evergreens which provide color and interest during the winter season.
These include the Southern Magnolia Magnolia grandiflora Eastern White Pine Pinus strobus Atlas Cedar Cedrus atlantica and Nordmann Fir Abies nodmanniana.
These four evergreens are some of the more than 9000 trees in the cemetery.
