Precision jet cutting combines water jet cutting and jetting as a new technique for eliminating root penetrations and other blockades from sewer mains and lateral connections without damaging pipe walls and laterals.
It is done with SR-SERIES base robot equipped with a camera a very precise steerable cutting nozzle and high-pressured water.
The water is pumped under high-pressure through the cutting nozzle that aims the resulting blast directly at the material that needs to be cut away. Different materials are eliminated efficiently by adjusting pressures to the material.
Fats oils greases sand sludge calcium small roots and other deposits are jetted away with pressures up to 4500psi.
Water pressures between 3000psi and 15000psi eliminate all root intrusions by jetting away the dirt and small root branches first.
Then the water blast cuts off the main root right where it enters the pipe.
