AverMedia There were some troubles with the Somagic EasyCap on Windows the fields appeared unsynced and the device dropped frames so I had to use Linux to capture.
It still had artifacts though.
Seems to be a hardware defect. The STK1160 adds a blue line on the far right when working in 720 480 mode. The source footage was recorded by me and its from Puerto Natales Chile and the Perito Moreno glacier Argentina.
