Fact is you can watch this film again and again - and still discover something fresh and interesting each time .
The hero is very quiet nobody underplayed a part better than Spencer Tracy did in this movie.
Great script by Millard Kaufman Don McGuire and Howard Breslin - and very sure-handed direction from John Sturges who also did another 191 Movie - The Great Escape.
Some directors simply know the best way to stage action.
