Basie Roulette Records. Around 1958 Jon Hendricks wrote and arranged lyrics to Lil Darlin. For many Count Basie fans Lil Darlin is the piece most closely associated with Freddie Green because of the guitars G13 arpeggio that occurs four times in the number.
