I make Nightcore-style remixes out of video game music. Support me on ko-fi! What is Nightcore? Nightcore is a remix culture that focuses on taking downbeat music and increasing the tempo and BPM in order to create high-energy dance and trance-style remixes.
You could think of it as an inverse of Vaporwave in a way with Vaporwave taking songs and lowering the tempo to create chill beats to relax and study to. Is this fair use? Absolutely! Remixes and covers of existing music are protected under fair use laws as unique expressions of a work that have been transformed into something new or of new utility or meaning.
Because a remix doesnt serve as a replacement for the original it is not considered as copyright infringement. Thanks and I hope you enjoy!
