Ford BLIS blind spot Warning: Diag Repair

Who said that new cars are problem-free and reliable? This 2015 Ford Escape company car is beeping and chiming and fussing so much that I couldnt drive it for more than 10 minutes without going crazy! The warning message on the dash says BLIS unavailable trailer attached...even though there is no trailer on the hitch.
