This motor should run for at least 20 years.
It is far easier to make than my other Devices that will run for Centuries.
This Motor is a replication of an EZ Spin type motor by Theodore Pali.
He refined the motor.
Here are the specifics I used to calculate the amp draw.
Using 50 ms time base signal is 3.5 divisions
3.550 150MS per pulse
154 rpm2.56 rps
Pulses 2.56 times per second 2.56150384
there are 1000ms in one second.
It is on 38.4 of the time 7.3842.68 Micro amps
Each pulse is 7 Micro amps
If I have calculated incorrectly please let me know.
I am not a math guy.
2.68 Micro amp draw will run for far longer than the batteries will last.
Eveready says that the battery will last 20 years in storage.
If they are correct the batteries will die long before they are drained.
AAA batteries are 1200 ma.
The drain of 2.86 micro amp should allow the battery to run for 45 years.
Since it is not likely that they will last much beyond 20 years.
I think that 20 years is a good bet.
Here is the circuit design
