Overwintering Marylin flax plant in Victoria BC. Flowered in early April and has new shoots too.

Flax has been used for fiber for about 30000 years.
It may have been the first agricultural crop! It is grown from Finland to Egypt.
Usually it is planted in March or April but there may be other options!
