Mozart Adagio Rondo for Harmonika arranged recorded by accordionist Joseph Petric

This is as close as Mozart got to composing for the accordion which didnt exist in his day.
He composed this delicate piece for the glass harmonika which originally was a series of crystal glasses filled with water of which the musician would stroke the rims to produce a shimmering melody.
Later versions joined a row of glass cylinders of different sizes to a horizontal rod which were arranged in order of pitch.
Joseph Petric superior arrangement performance of Mozarts original for the modernized accordion harmonika produces a tonal harmony from these musicians that soothes the soul lowers the systolic in orders of magnitude.
Petric company truly capture the spirit of Mozarts music exuding balance poise symmetry.
On this CD he plays a Hohner Gola but in the slides he plays what looks to me like a Pigini.
