The debut album of this instrumental acoustic duo introduces 11 tracks.
Most of them are compositions in the style of Celtic music followed by a couple of musical trips to the north of Europe and Romania.
The album is a living river of energy and emotions with the natural sound of fiddle and guitar...
With the composition Cedar Wood that opens the album we find ourselves somewhere deep in the north.
The New Full Moon reel originated after a night in a tower of a medieval castle during a full moon.
Flower Set two stories of two different flowers.
The sombre air Castles in the Sand is inspired by sandfigures on the riverbank in the town of Písek in Bohemia that are falling slowly but surely apart.
In Romanian Walk the musicians link together a Romanian hora dance with the famous Donegal reel Gravel Walk.
With a bit of imagination each day has its own colour it is Purple Afternoon.
The following set of a jig and two reels got an expressive title Insomnia.
Dream 64 is a waltz.
The melody was literally brought by a dream.
Hamsters Hornpipe is considered by both musicians to be a naive scene from the life of hamsters.
Mojo in Paradise is a set about the contrast between two legendary roads the Californian Mojave Ride and the most popular Czech highway D1 a road to paradise.
The album ends in Nordic icy beauty just like at the beginning the last melody of the album is a traditional Swedish dance.
Our new album is called Neotrad.
This particular title represents the balance and fusion between the folkloric tradition of different countries and a modern musical language with new peculiar elements...
According to both musicians it also expresses the fact that although these melodies have a traditional sound most of them are their own compositions which have simply somehow appeared in their mind and hands.
