In 1996 trail guru George Driscoll plotted a track from Seacliff Beach to the Mt Lofty Summit sticking to trails almost the entire way.
This week I tackle what is the only the second ever uphill run on this track as part of my training.
We start at the beach go through OHalloran Hill Recreation Park Sturt Gorge Conservation Park Belair National Park and Cleland Conservation Park before reaching the Mt Lofty Summit at a total distance of 32kms and an elevation of about 1400m.
Yet again this run pushes me to the absolute limit with its many steep inclines.
Along the way I dodge the deadly Australian Drop Dear but still manage to pick quite a nasty injury - so i highly recommend not eating towards the end of the video.
