SPUNKY Porsche 928 GTS Driven Hard in a Tough Street Race

This morning I enjoyed driving the sporty and luxurious Porsche 928 GTS.
This Gran Turismo Coupé was produced by Porsche to compete on the American market with Mercedes and BMW.
The 928 was designed with the transaxle scheme: front engine rear-wheel drive and rear-wheel gearbox to achieve optimal weight distribution between front and rear.
The air -cooled boxer engine cantilevered at the rear was also replaced by a more powerful V8 at the front. On the last 928 the 1992 GTS the displacement was increased to 5397cc power of 350 hp and 500 Nm at 4250 rpm of max torque. It took 5.7 seconds to sprint from 0 to 100 kmh 0-62 mph a top speed of 171 mph 275 kmh curb weight 3554lbs 1612 kg. The simulator is Forza Horizon 4 for Xbox One.
