The speakers believe that manipulation can be tackled once youre aware that you are being manipulated.
Hence the first step is recognizing the patterns in the behaviour of the manipulator.
Daria Nicotera is 16 years old and is currently in 10th grade.
She arrived at BIS in 2009.
At the time she was 7 years old and in 2nd grade.
Daria was born in Leicester England and moved to Germany in 2009.
This 2018 is Darias 10th year in living in Germany. Daria is doing a TED talk synchronically with her best friend Sabrina Shih.
The talk relates to manipulation and would like to present a solution to manipulation.
This topic interests her as it is connected to the physiological aspect of humans and explores the way people think. Jao-Yi Sabrina Shih born in Houston Texas on the 26th of April 2002 and has lived in Taiwan before moving to Germany in 2007.
She is currently in grade 10. Sabrina has many hobbies but her main ones are sports swimming and music.
She has been participating in Jugend Musiziert competitions since 2017 and won third place in the national competition. Sabrina is doing a TED talk with Daria Nicotera about manipulation as the science of human psychology interests her deeply.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
