How to use a TP Link ARCHER VR2800 modemrouter with Virgin Media Hub 3.0 for Wifi

Not covering the web UI parts because it is already well documented elsewhere basically you need to: - connect an Ethernet cable between TP Link and your PC configure it on your browser: 192.168.1.1 Operation mode Wireless router mode.
This might not be necessary on models that are not modemrouters just routers.
But on the modemrouter it comes configured for DSL mode by default which wont work. - then connect the Ethernet between between the Hub 3.0 and your PC and configure it on your browser: 192.168.0.1 Hub Settings Modem Mode On final Ethernet connection: LANWAN port on TP link to Hub Port 1. The Wireless of the TP Link ARCHER VR2800 is significantly better at long range than the Hub 3.0 one.
When in the same room I managed to max out the 256 MBs download speed on an Internet speed test.
Make sure to use the 5.0GHz Wifi the speed difference is drastic otherwise. TP Link details: Firmware Version:0.9.0 0.9.1 v006c.0 Build 221025 Rel.61007n Hardware Version:Archer VR2800 v1 00000000AppSupport
