Dense Phase Conveying for AbrasiveFriable Material up to 1000m

Dense phase conveying using a pneumatic ProPhase conveyor from Schenck Process in Conti pump mode is ideal for highly abrasive or friable material over a distance of up to 1000m. The ProPhase Conti pump for dense phase conveying is one of several alternative ProPhase pump modes. All of these conveyor modes run only when material is available in the silo. In operation using the Conti pump the vessel fills to the level probe the outlet valve is closed.
Then the inlet valve closes and the vessel pre-pressurises.
When a pre-set pressure is reached the outlet valve opens and the material is fed to the silos.
Unlike the Prep pump the outlet valve closes once the vessel is empty but air is bypassed around the outlet valve allowing the material flow to continue while the vessel is refilled.
This allows the full cycle to then efficiently repeat.
