Howdy folks - welcome to Do Brew!
This video serves two purposes:
1.
To introduce Do Brew viewers to our latest project - the renovation of the 200 year old brick farmhouse and
2.
To announce the launch of our sister channel Carter Hall Farms.
For the foreseeable future Do Brew will focus on Mike and the crews renovation repair of interiorexterior woodwork installation of a new roof copper gutters exterior drainagelandscapinghardscaping brickwork plumbing electrical plaster wallceiling repair painting and wood floor restoration and heating cooling of this beautiful old farmhouse built c.1820 in Virginias Shenandoah Valley.
We will also showcase the many projects undertaken to return this property to a working farm building the chicken coop establishing a large vegetable garden setting up the bee hives this is apple country apple blossom honey renovating the 100 year old barn building new barns to get ready for the sheep and maybe a greenhouse!.
The new Carter Hall Farms channel will be primarily focused on cultivating our garden raising our sheep chicken and bees and Carries knitting projects someday with the fiber harvested here on the farm.
She will also be dyeing fiber with natural dyes producing beeswax products and canningpreserving vegetables -produced and harvested here at Carter Hall.
